Halvorsen is a strategic communications specialists, a content writer, and arts advocate. Her bachelor’s is in strategic communications from the Univesity of Utah and associates is in mass communications technology from Salt Lake Community College. She has experience in sales, marketing, publishing, media creation, writing, and public relations. She has cultivated skills in writing/editing/the Associated Press style of writing, management, theatrical event production, film production, and more.

As an arts advocate, Halvorsen has a passion for the arts and storytelling both in creating and supporting other creators. Her illustrated storybook/guide, “Ellie the Drama Princess: A Children’s Introduction to the Theatrical Process,” is used as curriculum for a homeschooling program that spans multiple states.

Halvorsen’s long-range career goal is to work in marketing, communications, public relations, sales, publishing, or media production. She has a particular interest in the film and entertainment industry, the performing arts, theatrical/film/TV production, publishing, travel, and other storytelling/experience-based industries. Her dream is to one day work for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney Parks, or within the film, entertainment, and travel industry. Contacts from within these industries would be highly appreciated.

Halvorsen is available for freelance communications; marketing, branding, website design/web presence management, media creation, editing, and writing work. She also offers one-on-one training on these subjects to assist her clients in achieving their creative goals.
