VioArts

Handmade art where macabre meets cuddly

About the Artist:

VioArts is a multi-media artist working out of Poor Yorick’s Studios in Salt Lake City, whose art is best described as a mixture of the macabre and the cuddly. Her work has been featured in the Dreamscapes exhibit and the Urban Arts Gallery, being called ‘wonderful, whimsical, and weird.’ From pencil sketches and acrylics, to plaster cast sculptures and articulated puppet creations, she is an artisan who creates monsters of all sizes and types; some creatures of horror and some not so scary at all! They live in her mind and sometimes escape to dwell on paper, canvas, and Halvorsen’s home.
